The supporters’ club
An association created to bring supporters in Cali and Colombia together, foster friendship and enjoy football as a community.
From an online community to the country’s first official club
Peña Barcelonista Cafetera de Cali began as a Facebook space where supporters shared news. Pedro Pablo Bonilla Ospina, a Colombian living in Barcelona, helped turn the community into an official supporters’ club.
The project took shape at a meeting in Cali on 18 January 2014. The association was registered with the Chamber of Commerce on 14 March, and FC Barcelona issued credential number 2195 on 3 June that year.
The supporters’ club officially began its activity on 14 July 2014. It has since brought the community together, organised gatherings and helped members with official supporters’ club procedures.
